I know of ATLEAST three folks that would more than likely let you shoot ond just to see if you liked it or not . And between the three of them you could possibly have nine guns to choose from

Eventually a 32" California Duck Club 20 gauge would be great to own. Long term wish list item

That's going to happen Craig without doubt, it is just such a rare gun and so much fun to shoot I'm going to have to shoot it for just a little bit before I send it off. I actually had a conversation about the project with Brian yesterday I believe. My guess is that I will keep it around for a few weeks and then get it headed his way. I've already acquired a stick of wood for the project. My vision is that this gun should have a trap comb and thick wrist along with a silver's pad. Since the letter did not specify the butt treatment I have a little flexibility there. All other specs I plan to match the letter as close as possible. Might tweak the DAC just a tad, not much.

I feel relatively certain that I know the three folks of whom you speak. There is little doubt that I would like it. Someday the right 10 will come along for me and I will not hesitate, AGAIN

I managed to get in 2 rounds of sporting clays with this gun, what a treat it was. I shot it well, not far off my 12 gauge game actually on a fairly testy course. It is now in the hands of Fed Ex on its way to Mr. Dudley with a pretty darn nice stock blank IMO. Attached is a not so good pic of the blank the prior owner had sent me via text. And so the inevitable wait that goes along with a project such as this begins.
