Although I would be touting some configuration steeped in 16 & 20 ga barrels due to my affinity for such.

I think the case could easily be made that a 12ga two barrel set choked Q1/Q2 & IC/MOD along with 3" chambers would arguably be the most versatile field gun that is offered save the SCC.

What a keen revelation! The SCC offers all the versatility of the 2-barrel set -- only more of it . . . and doing it without being cumbersome.
