Default Screw-In Chokes

I have ben thinking of purchasing a parker that is in great shape but the barells have been cut according to the chokes, or lack thereof. Does anyone have any input as to the feasability of screw-in chokes? I like the gun but improved cylinder and cylinder chokes are not what i need. Price is really good, though. Thanks guys

Briley can do it if the walls are not too thin.

Ask for Steve Powers at Briley. He will help you out in that department.

There are tens of thousands of Parkers out there. Buy the one you "need". Parkers with cut barrels are very hard to resell. Having said that, Briley chokes are often very handy. I have a Purdey with one set of barrels tubed and a BSA Wildfowler with Brileys for use with Hevi-shot. Good Luck with your Parker.

When I worked in a gun store, I put a 25" #2 frame VH on consignment for $800 (it was a bit of a high end store). The boss asked me how much I would take for it if someone made an offer. I said if he looked like a nice guy, about $350, or $400 if he was a jerk. One morning I noticed the gun was gone. The boss handed me eight one hundred dollar bills. The gun had sold for full price. It really was a nice gun, sort of.

I'm not shocked some one walked into TCG and bought a cut off Parker. What I am surprised at is YOU ACTUALLY SOLD A GUN!

That's understandable, Dave. Bill almost BUYS a gun from me every 5 years...usually an 8 gauge. Merry Christmas

Well, I've missed a couple. I wish I could pay for the 36" DH eight.
