No Parkers for me but a Fox J grade SBT sought me out and forced itself on me!

Congrats Jeff but it’s too bad it came to you that way.

Oh no, he died in 1940. My second cousin had it. I swapped him a set of horns off the first steer butchered at Swift and co on the Ft Worth stockyards. My great grandfather was superintendent there.

Default 2022 acquisitions

I found a few this year including a 32" 16 gauge hammer gun on a 0 frame.
Not too many of those made...

I also picked up a 30" DHE with a vent rib and a Parker single trigger.

Then there was the P marked GHE 12 gauge with 30" barrels that I showed in another thread.

Early in the year I came across a 16 gauge GHE with 28" barrels.

I also found a P grade 12 gauge with 30" Titanic barrels.

But, the one I'm happiest with is the DHE Skeet gun with a beavertail forend, a checkered butt and a Parker single trigger. Although, it is a 12 gauge.

And lastly, one I didn't mention from last year, in fear of taking a lot of heat about it, was the 20 gauge Trojan with 28" barrels and the V grade replacement stock that Cabela's was selling. That gun is lovely shooter and I'm really glad I bought it.

I’d be intrested to see the hammer 16 as well ! I recently got rid of one of the hammer 16’s with 30” barrels and am planning to be rid of the Grade 2 16 30” hammer on the 0 frame as it doesn’t quite fit me .

I doesn't look like I am going to add anymore Parkers this year so I better post to this...

I added a few back actions one 14 gauge and two in 12b, one is a very early serial #029

I added a nice original condition damascus 16 GHE with 28" barrels choked m/m that is just wonderful. It is a go to gun for sure.

I bought that 32" 20 gauge DHE on an "0" frame that everyone was talking about on GunBroker. Breck Gorman has the barrels and is working his magic and Brian Dudley will soon have the stock and forend and get that looking good. That is going to be a sweet Parker and I can't wait to start using that one!

Last, but certainly not least, I found a beautiful 1927 VH 410 on a "000" frame that shoots as good as it looks.

Overall a great year!
