Default Unable to buy

Was in Illannoys over the weekend and tried to buy some ammo from Farm and Fleet. Well they don't sell to out of state fellas unless you have a FOID card which you can't get if you live out of state. Bass Pro was much the same but would sell to neighboring states only not to Alabama resident who even has a CCW. Fricken ridiculous. I am now officially boycotting both stores.

Yea, and our billionaire Governor just signed some kind of bill for deeper background checks, as of the news tonight. I have no idea, at this time, what that means.

Welcome to the new state of Illinoisickstan. Just my rant....

It's a state law, so don't blame the stores. Supposedly, you can buy shotgun ammo if you have a nonresident hunting license as well.

Why boycott the stores? They did not voluntarily adopt such ridiculous anti-gun policies. They are victims of unconstitutional state action. Boycott the State of Illinois.

Well with the low murder and crime rate in Chicago it is obvious that there regulations are working as intended

It sounds like your beef is with the state, not the retailer who is following the laws, passed by the state.

In New England it has recently become store policy not to sell firearms or ammo in Dick’s and in some Wallmarts and Bass Pro/Cabelas is quickly following suit it appears.
