No way Dean, three traps fire at the same instant and three birds in the air at the same time. Might be possible if one or two of the birds just “sucked air” to use that sporting clays term, but not a trio of clays as per Evil Mike’s sobriquet .....

"Fire on the Mountain", great name for a shoot. Is that your name for it or Mikes?
We have a three bird shoot every so often but with a twist. Three birds are launched in the air at once but one is called the poison bird. It's a different color; could be two orange, one white; two white one black; two black one green... you get the idea. You have to break the two targets of the same color. If you break the poison bird points are deducted. This is a game that calls for very tight chokes and what I call surgical removal of targets.

"No ginkgo biloba" were harmed in this event.
Seriously La Toola, this game requires, and will improve, your hard focus on the target. It's not as difficult as it sounds. Drop down below the Mason-Dixon sometime and we'll have you breaking targets and hooking fat stripers on a regular basis.

Years ago when we were operating manual Lincoln traps we used to shoot poison birds. I was amazed at how many people are color blind and could not differentiate the birds especially some color combinations.

I always thought they called them “rock fish” south of the Mason-Dixon line...

The two terms are used interchangeably down here. If you are incapable of catching your own and have to go to the fish market they are called Rockfish. Those who can load up and go chase Stripers.
