Default Source For Vintage Rifle Sights

I apologize if I am posting this on the incorrect forum, but I wanted to make the members aware of an excellent source for vintage rifle sights.

Ken Bean - "The Sight Man", passed on a while back. Ken was very knowledgeable and always had an extensive selection of vintage rifle sights available for purchase. A gentleman named Dave Yingst (717) 503-7771, has purchased all of Ken's inventory and is in the business of selling these items. I have found Dave to be very pleasant and reasonable. Anyone searching for a vintage rifle sight might consider contacting Dave.

I have absolutely no interest in Dave's business. Just wanted to make others aware of this potential source.

Sorry to hear about Ken. He was an institution in this area for decades. Does his replacement have a website or show schedule?

Default Yingst

I don’t know Bill. I know he lives in the Harrisburg area. Best bet would be to call him for a show schedule.

I used to deal with a guy in Texas by the name of Garry Feller, if I'm remembering right. Long ago. May or may not still be around. He had a lot of sights back then.

Was he in the big or small hall?

Vintage rifle sights, etc. used to be a common sight at major guns shows (OGCA) but not so much any more
Sad

Garry Fellers seems to have disappeared. I have no idea who took over for him.

Ken's table was always my first stop at Baltimore. If I wasn't selling, I was buying and Ken always had what I needed. A real gentleman.
