Hi Sam!
If it is an extractor gun it is a VH. If it is an ejector gun it is a VHE. Oh, hi there Bill |

Sam: Your gun is in the "I.D. BOOK" as a VH Grade Parker, hammerless, capped pistol grip stock, 12 gauge with 30 inch barrels, no ejectors made in 1904.

thanks very much everyone for the info!
Any idea where to find 2 things: what shells to use in this gun and what value this gun might have? Thank you again, Sam |

You can shoot any lead shot shells in this gun that are compatible with the measured chamber length. However the metal and wood parts would both be better protected is you restricted yourself to what is referred to as "target" shells made for skeet and trap shooting. The chamber length of your gun, if original, is probably 2 5/8" meant to be used with 2 3/4" shells. Your gun is perfectly safe to shoot if it does not rattle when closed. Valuation means pictures.

"VALUATION MEANS PICTURES" is the best answer I have read when people ask for valuation.
