It's OK. Has those very dangerous Damascus barrels that are an accident just waiting to happen, and that gaudy engraving, waaaay over the top. I'll give you $500 for it as a parts gun.

William, It's nice to see my 16ga BH traveled in good company to the Boston show in 1898.

Edgar, figured William already noticed that badly bent top-lever so I didn’t mention it.

It is extremely rare to find a high grade Parker that Parker Bros. was so proud of that it was their dedicated show gun, as explained in the research letter!
I have a 16 gauge GH on the 0-frame with 26” Damascus barrels that was made for the 1893 World’s Fair Columbian Exposition.
Yours is a real prize!!

Default 1898 Boston Show:

This plebeian damascene 28” 16 gauge GH 1 frame also accompanied the subject gun to the 1898 Boston Show. Though not nearly as baroque, it got to go along for the ride.

The better part of 9 years as a display gun. Imagine the hands it passed through. I wonder how many guns its’s influence sold. Looks like it eventually got to spend some time in the field or marsh.
