I grew up in NW OH and when I was home visiting family would always make a trip to Jaquea’s. On one of those trips I went through about 15 of those repros to pick out the two 20 gauges that went back to FL w/me. Wish I had been smart enough to buy DT/BT guns and a 28 gauge as well. Neal was very accommodating as I looked at the wood and selected the guns I wanted. Had I only known I should have bought 5 or 6 of them and held on to them!!! Live and learn. Brett

Brett, how about posting some pics showing us the wood in the “Let’s see some wood!” thread of those two 20ga. Repros you picked out at Jacqua’s? I’m sure many here would like to see them!

When Jim Tyrell was the manager at F.R.&G.C. he came to a skeet shoot at Piedmont Sportsman’s Club and brought along some stuff for sale . This was when the Repro’s first hit the market . He had a Repro 28 seems to me it was 26” IC/M or Q1/Q2 and a single trigger . Seems to me he was asking $2095 or $2195 . I fingered that gun quite a bit but wouldn’t bite . He also had a Winchester 23 Classic also in 28 gauge , I did bite for the Winchester seems to me I paid $1200 for the 23 .
