Thanks Dean. I'll try a different bolt in it and we'll see.

With Parkers, the lever location means little. The lever was set at the factory and where it sits is where it sits. And levers on parkers cannot move very far before the lever stops out and the breech is just plain loose.
The concave dish in the rib carried over the frame and into the lever. So, that dish will line up with the rib and frame regardless of lever position. If the gun is tight, dont worry about it.

This is probably really dumb, but could it have been set up for a lefty?

Thanks Brian. Had a look at several and the top levers are slightly left or slightly right or bang on center. All are tight and on-face good shooters. This Trojan is a bit more left than the others but it is still all tight so I will live with it as is.
No dumb questions ever Phil. I admit I have not seen a double set up for a leftie but this Trojan pushes to the right to open so it was not set up for a leftie. Were top levers set up to open to the left for left handed shooters or did they have to adapt to the right opening? There's my question posed from lack of knowledge. Cheers, Jack

Levers all opened one way. To the right.

Look at the center picture on page 200 of TPS. Now that's what I call 'Way To The Left'. Obviously a negative reversed, but amusing.

Good call Edgar. That really is way to the left. If negative was not reversed, it could be the leftie prototype. Cheers, Jack

Saw the double set up for lefthanders once at Steve Barnett's shop. It was a 16 Purdey and priced below what most Purdey's cost, but still out of my range.
