Default Annual Pheasants Forever "Field Gun Challenge" @ Rock Mt

Here's another SxS friendly event. This is not an PGCA event, it's just for fun and to enhance habitat in NEPA.

Coming up at Rock Mountain Sporting Clays,Saturday, 30 July, the annual Pheasants Forever "Field Gun Challenge". There are 2 parts to this shoot. The first is a 75 bird field course shot for score. Cash options are available for the field course and HOA will receive a custom blue stone trophy. The second part is a 2 man/50 bird "South Dakota Flush" shot on the 5-Stand area. This is 50 birds in 2 minutes, all random singles and pairs. This is a HOOT!!!! There will be plenty of food and prizes/raffles/awards to go around. Along with the food/fun, all money raised by this event will stay in NEPA and be used to benefit habitat. Come on and join in in this event, have fun and help us enhance habitat in NEPA.

A wonderful day for the annual PF NEPA Chapter #803 event!! 43 shooters ventured out to test their skills on the course and to shoot the "South Dakota Flush" after the main event. Congrats to John Fuches for his HOA Main Event for the 2nd year in a row!! John won usin a 100 year old 16g Hopkins and Allen SxS. John shot a 69/76 but with his handicap (5 for sub-gauge and 3 for SxS) he wound up with a 77 and the coveted HOA award!! Young Parris Alunni was HOA Youth with a 53/76!! RMSC and PF want to thank all the shooters and volunteers who helped make this event a success!! A big thanks have to go to Susan Traver of PF for all the food she made and for the registration of the shooters. Well done Susan!! Next year's date is booked, same Bat Time, same Bat Channel.
