The British Parker family was making guns a generation or two before the Parker Brothers got stuck with a load of musket barrels and decided to go into the shotgun business to find a use for them - i find it funny we think they were taking advantage of the name
and i don't think you can all an English proofed gun cheap of hand
looks to be a typical Birmingham set of post 1887 proofs
that gun - although likely an inexpensive one - even in its day- would have to be judged on its own merits
but to avoid confusion the next time- American Parkers are labeled Parker Brothers - not just Parker
