Default Ending the Year with a Double

Spent the last day of 2021 hunting quail on a private club with Dad and some friends.

Got a double with a recently acquired VH 16

Very nice ! I spent the 31st in a treestand in the morning and the evening . Today’s the actual last day but it’s a downpour outside so my whitetail season is over .

Mills, I wouldn't be surprised if they were open choked. My 2 26 in guns were both ordered at cyl/mod, great quail chokes. Uh

Very nice Mills, especially to do it with your father.

A special day, with special people and a special gun. I'm sure you'll remember this one.

Of minor interest, our hosts were descendants of Seward Webb who made one of the most notable Parker orders. Neither one of them shoot Parkers though.

Mills, have you read the great Smithsonian article on Webb and the New England property? I think Kevin and I stumbled across one or two of the Webb Parker orders when we were copying the order books in Ilion in 1998.
