6pt buck with a 1937 Sauer stalking rifle in 7x57R with a period Hensoldt scope.

My son Chris got the 8 point pictured below in our woods behind the house with a 1956 vintage Winchester M70 in .308 on our opening day, last Saturday.

James I had a Zoli combo , a Kerner drilling and still have a JP Sauer drilling all had 7x57R rifle barrels . Never tried anything in the 160 range most all I tried were 139-145 grains . But your combo gun looks quite nice !
