Default Opening Day Ducks

Saturday morning I took a couple hours off from picking corn to chase some ducks on opening day. The beaver dam held a large number of Woodies. Of course my mallard Wood Duck double landed on the other side of the ditch.
The water is deep enough that I only had 6" of wader left before I was going to get wet! I was shooting a vhe 2 frame 34" gun that I bought at the Baltimore Show last spring.

Good going Jeff!
That has happened to me a few time but I have had to hike up to the next bridge to get my birds.

By the way, I like those waders, who makes them?

Nice. I’ve gone “over the falls” in waders plenty. Better than caffeine for a wake up call!
