It is mine.It is serial number 84.The engraving is finer than any I have seen before. It came from the factory as a standard BHE,no special ordering.I guess all of the BHE guns were hand engraved and they used different engravers.I can't find a signature anywhere on the gun.

John...I like the engraving, better than the standard we see...Like Bob, I also collect repro's with two triggers...)-: The BHE is the only big one still on my list...20 or 28ga. with double triggers. Then I can push away from the table and be repro satisfied. SXS ohio

I also prefer the style of engraving of John's gun than those usually encountered. I wonder why we haven't seen more variations of the game scenes in this model?
Remember Kenny, no Parker Reproduction Collection can be considered complete without a 0000-frame example in there somewhere. You could 'push away from the table' with just one purchase -- find yourself a 4/0 frame BHE .410 with double triggers.

Interesting that 2 more BHEs have just shown up on GI. Typically, CSMC is asking $3000 more than Steve Barnett for basically the same gun. I like the engraving better on the one John Allen is selling.
Kenny, I doubt you'll ever be done with your Parker Reproduction acquisition quest ! |
