It is still there. I do hope PGCA buys it.

Last time the PGCA acquired a gun, it was off face and the stock needed work. It went off to a fine gunsmith who had agreed to do the work at reduced price and when he got around to it. It took several years. Meanwhile, we had a member who complained on this forum about not seeing the gun again, alleged that it had gone off into a "black hole" and was now likely in somebody's private collection.
Never again. Maybe a member could buy the gun and exhibit it? There are several of us who haul around a bunch of guns to exhibit events and others could also. |

Interesting, I just noticed in which issue of Parker Pages this gun was written about. It just happens to be the same issue I used as an example of what Parker Pages is like for the non-PGCA members to view in the hopes they might join our organization.
So, if you are a forum member and not a PGCA member, you can read about this gun on page 37 of that issue. Go to parkerguns.org and click on the Parker Pages link on the left side. When the page comes up, click on the image of the Parker Pages and wait for the image to display (it can be slow). Enjoy the read. |
