Default Barrel Dent and Refinishing

Attached is a photo of a dent on the barrel of my grandfather's Trojan 16.

It was lifted by Kirk Merrington several years ago and he pronounced the barrel as being sound.

I would like to get the barrels refinished and was wondering if there was a gunsmith who could "clean up" that dent cease and refinish them.

Contact Brian Dudley about having the spot welded up, filed down, and refinishing the barrels.

Is there any reason why Merrington didn't finish the job?

The barrels didn’t need to be refinished at the time. I’m going to get the stock and forearm refinished and figured I might as well do the barrels.

I was hoping for some input about the little crease as I am a complete novice in regards to restoration/refinishing.

I have contacted Kirk yesterday and he is going to work on them.
