I never took to the trap game. That gun could bring me over to the dark side. Whew that's nice 👍

Nothing AT ALL wrong with trap especially doubles . I shot it a lot a number of years ago . It’s just skeet was my first love so to speak . We used to have several clubs that had 50/50 non registered shoots 50 trap 50 skeet . Most of the folks then shot one or the other . I shot both so I had a slight advantage in that I was okay mentally with either game . And typically it paid off and I placed . Always remember a clay target is just a clay target , if you see the target you can break the target .

I shot a little trap as a kid but never much as an adult except for family pasture clays. Then suddenly (through no fault of my own I assure you ) I found myself owning a trap gun and after that I felt I had no choice. I’m still not very serious about it; my squad just lets me kinda hang around. But frankly, with age and reduced hunting opportunities I’m finding it to be kind of necessary, and I really enjoy it. Now I own three trap guns so whataya gonna do?

Never said there was anything wrong with it, said I never took to it. Trap doubles I do enjoy immensely when I get the rare chance to shoot it.

They do a single barrel event at Rock Mountain at the July shoot 30 targets on the sporting course . Rather fun to say the least Frank Srebro and a couple others are rather proficient at it .

That’s a fine gun! Had it in my hands a while back and it’s an amazing Parker.

I love trap. But Singles can be a lot like work. Handicap is a crapshoot. Doubles is no doubt the most fun, especially with a Parker side x side. And that’s why they say Singles for money, Handicap for glory and Doubles for fun.

Thank you all for the kind words regarding the cover page. Very humbled to be the steward of that masterful piece of workmanship. Thank you to all who made it happen.
