Default Looking for someone to checker VH

Bought this VH sometime back with kind of a mystery with the rear stock. It’s fit to the metal is perfect but it lacks the checkering on the butt stock . Grip cap and butt plate fit perfect and appear original . It also has the silver tag. Is it a factory replacement without checkering ? Aftermarket ?
I would like to have it checkered. I’m looking for any suggestions for someone who could cut the appropriate checkering ?

I would appreciate any input

Thanks
Ray

The stock is not original. It was just made and not checkered.

That was my take on it too Brian.

Thanks for the input . I figured it was a replacement but wasn’t sure if it was aftermarket ( non Parker ) or a replacement from Parker not checkered . Having the silver emblem that was the same as Parker original had me thinking.
