Default Shootin' Hoops

March Madness? No, more specific shootin with Brett Hoops. Went down to the wonderful Hunting Hills SC today, a beautiful spring morning. First time out this year.. Brett making his debut with his new Parker Repro 28, and he broke it in well. I shot a 4E 16 Ithaca with several new loads I found this winter. Finished the morning with a nice conversation with Ray and Roy Sisler

Shooting with Dr. Pickens never disappoints! First practice for grouse season.
I plan on shooting the Reproduction 28ga a lot. This is my only Repro and it shows promise to make the road crew.

Hunting Hills has a certain magical lure to it that just doesn’t wear off no matter how often I shoot the 2 courses. They will be having a Vintage shoot in May I don’t want to miss. If your a Setter / Pointer guy with the grit of a grouse hunter you’ll want to spend some time checking out their lodge and maybe get a chance to visit with Roy and Sally who’s lifetime vision provided this spectacular escape.

I thought we’d see pictures of Brett looking like he had been quail hunting with Dick Cheny.

Thought about that Dean, and then confiscating his 28 repro, but he does have a wife and kids and 2 dependent dogs.

Please don't hurt Brett, I kind of like him.
But then again I like corn dogs.
