Paul;
You have been substituting Cheddites for Win 209's? I'm getting ready to buy primers this weekend at a supplier and maybe I'll get some Cheds along with some Wins. to try out. Can't find any data for Cheds in the 3/4 oz load I'm using. What load are you using them in?
Ed;
The supplier in PA that I use just got Rem209's in at $189.00/5000. The Win209's are $135.00/5000. If you are in need of the Rems. I would be happy to pick you up some and meet you somewhere in between to deliver.

Darryl - I've substituted win 209 for Rem 209. I've never used Cheddites. I will get back to you. Will be in Baltimore next week. How close are you? I may switch to Winchester 209. Ben at Hodgden said it makes very little difference.

Just about all primers are mild except the Federals. Yes I know there are small differences but normally not enough to make a difference. The Cheddites will sub for the Win.

Thanks for the heads up on the Cheddite 209's Paul. I bought 5000 of them last weekend and loaded them in my 12ga. 3/4oz. load. Could'nt tell any difference between them and the WW209's. I don't think I'll ever load anything but the 3/4oz. load from now on. What a pleasure to shoot and their performance is on a par with the 7/8oz. as far as target breaking. Now I'm saving even more per shell with a dramatic reduction in recoil. Less is really more. Can't wait to try them on my 3/4oz. 20ga. load.
