Default She is back !

My oldest dog sliced her pad wide open on a piece of glass on an earlier woodcock hunt so she was on the IR for 3 weeks . Got her out today and she was on her A game !

Good to hear. I have had 2 dogs cut their pads on broken glass while grouse hunting over the years. Hope the rest of your season goes well.

Hunting great grouse covert around long gone and abandoned 19th century homes, suddenly you hear a clink and a yip. And then you know you'll be taking a trip to the vet for sutures...we've done that a couple of times. Now I try to avoid these coverts despite the good grouse numbers.
