What is your serial number? My Greener Royal hammer gun is #28804, last gun made in 1885 according to Graham Greener. It is nitro proved for 2 1/2 ounces of shot in 3 3/4" cases. Yup, we need pictures to establish an approximate value.

We had a fellow bring a Greener in a month or so ago for some stock work . When he brought it in it had fluid steel 10 gauge barrels but they were thick and it was heavy . Come to find out he also has a set of damascus 8 gauge barrels at home . Seems the gun left the factory sometime in the 1890's as a damascus 8 gauge and was later returned to have a set of fluid steel 10's fitted . The fellow that owns this gun owns part of the "J Roberts Gun Company" . Not that means a whole lot but I think he bought them over there and then brought them here rather then finding them here .
