First Parker,
I'm new to this site, found it via google. I'm new to Parkers, bought my first the other day. Hope to learn about my new old Parker through this site. Once I learn to navagate I will post photos. I am very pleased, so far with my discoveries. I've learned my gun was made in 1903, has a #2 frame, it has a G but no H. So I guess it may be a GH Grade, it matchs the engraving type on the GH example, however the stock has a silver shield, maybe this was an upgrade. The 12Ga, 30" Damascus steel barrels has two Ivory Beads. The second barrel is a 12Ga 26" Vulcan steel. All serial #s match, Frame, and both Barrels. The Gun feels good in my hands, it shoulders well, and I love the image down the swamped site rib on either barrel, but the Ivory beads on the Damascus is dramatic. The butt plate is hidden behind an ugle old red rubber butt cusion, its dry and cracked, but I have left it just as I got it. I have cleaned it, and put a little grease on the lugs. I rubbed a little lemon oil on the stock, pretty walnut wood.
any tips from the pro's?
Thanks
