A few weeks ago I posted a question about TR and Parkers. From the few responses I received it sounds like TR never owned a Parker. Since he was such a sportsman and spent so much time in the field, in the US and abroad, does anyone have any idea what guns (specifically shotguns) TR owned and where they are today?

Jay- there is an LC Smith 5E 16ga gun, straight stocked with 30" tubes once owned by TR at the Cody Museum in Cody, WY. I am familiar with another one in this exact configuration just a few numbers apart.

I can't remember what Roosevelt guns are in the National Firearms Museum. Every time I go over there, last week for instance, all I can focus on in the TR exhibit is the Fred Adolph double rifle. There may be a shotgun or two in there.

So, Fox, Ithaca and Smith. Kind of a slap in the face to Parker. Any others from other companies? Are all of his personal guns accounted for?

T.R. didn't pay a dime for his F Grade Fox. His wife ordered it for him and when she sent payment it was returned by Fox with their compliments.
