If your barrels haven't been messed with and are in good physical condition, I wouldn't hesitate to shoot 6000 PSI shells in them. 1/4" isn't going to raise your pressure significantly.

Thank you
I will get the BP Advantages Manual. The other guns are English made shotguns. I and pretty sure they are both 2 1/2 inch chamber guns, but will double check. The 2 3/4 inch 12 g load (Cheddite plastic hull, Cheddite 209 primer, 16.4 grns Perfect Pattern, 1 ounce 7.5 lead shot, CB-6100 wad, 1/4 inch felt wad (under plastic wad) with an over powder card) shoots and patterns reasonably well in my Parker GHE. It is under 6000 PSI. Now I am looking for a low pressure load for the 2 1/2 inch Cheddite paper hulls. I will try the suggested manual...

The walls on the Cheddite paper hulls are, according to BP, .030, much thicker than The plastic hulls. I load CB 075,3/4 oz using CBs recipes in Cheddite paper. They load and shoot like a dream, easy on the gun, shoulder, and break clays with authority. Good shooting.
