Default Major Waldron's NEW YEARS EVE shoot

Traditionally when weather has allowed we have had a PGCA get together and shoot on New Years Day at Major Waldron's in Barrington NH. This year NYD falls on a Sunday which is the scheduled day for Skeet shooting and the club will be quite busy. I talked with a long time member and director and we think SATURDAY Dec 31st would be a better day for all involved.

On Saturday there will be an open Trap field, an open Skeet field and the 5 stand course will be open as well.

Shooting would start at 9AM.

I will have to check and see if prices changed since I last ran the Wed evening trap shooting but it was $6 a round for non-member to shoot trap or skeet and $7 for a round of 5 stand.

Is anyone interested in coming on Saturday 12/31? If so I will post directions and any updates in a reply.

I will be there! Hoping for good weather, since last year didn’t work out.

Pete:

Thanks for considering this, and, God-willing, count me in.

When I have attended this non-official PGCA event in the past, it has been super, including the hot food in the range shack, such as the wild-game stews. And it has been at the right time of the year to bring together the vintage gun enthusiasts of the region and a few that are not who make the trek to participate.

PGCA members that you never know of, as they don't have an online presence, have shown up in the past, which ads to being able to put a face to the online personalities "known" only via the PGCA Forum.

It has been my opportunity to handle and even shoot guns the likes of which I will never be able to own.

I really wish I could attend but I’m not sure I can get there and back home in time for the Georgia/Ohio State game.

Default NYE

I am going to see if son Henry is willing to make the LONG ride to Waldron's to shoot.
It is a wicked good time and I haven't seen those crazy boys in a LONG time.

Is Stub Twist attending?
