Default Dainty but Deadly

Found slumbering in a rack of dubious-lineaged guns at a local show, this svelte little babe followed me home. I'd wanted a smallbore hammer gun for some time, and this one spoke to me. W.W. Greener 28 gauge with 27" fluid steel bbls. (their standard for this model) and 2 7/8" chambers, nitro proofed for 5/8 oz., choked CYL and MOD. Woodcock look out!

Birds beware! What a nice little gun.

Original Birmingham proofs. Later london reproofs. Looks like Chambers opened to 2 3/4 at that time. Metric number stamps I believe started in 1989.

Yes, yes, yes and yes. Forgot to note the weight at 4 lbs. 14 oz.! Handles like a fine bamboo fly rod.

I would have bought that also Kevin. I once had a 5 lb OU 28 ga with double triggers, but it had a 9 lb trigger pull, I couldnt hit with it and turned it into a GH 16.
