Default I needed a few 10 gauge hulls

I needed a few 10 gauge hulls since ive shot just about all my Cheddites, and I didnt feel like waiting for them to be back in stock so I got some cheap Federal 10 ga steel loads and broke them down for the hulls. Not the most economical way of doing things but staying home because you didnt have a few primed hulls seems a bit silly to me. I dont go through alot of 10 ga shells really, I probably shoot the 8 gauge more but I like having a few on hand usually around 50 so I picked up 2 boxes of these for now.

I'll remove the factory ink markings once I get them loaded though I dont think most people do from what ive seen buts its really easy to do.

I’ve got a Grade 2 top lever 3 frame 10 gauge that at some point was sent to Belgium and fitted with a set of fluid steel barrels and 3 1/2” chambers . Barrels also have Briley screw ins Anyway not to long after getting it at Hausemanns in June I made a trip to Greentop Sporting Goods in Glen Allen VA and bought some 10 gauge 3 1/2” slugs and buckshot . Unless I’m mistaken the four boxes cost me $100 and that’s for twenty rounds total .

They weren't in stock a week or so ago when I ordered the Federals. I should have a few empty Cheddites laying around but I am getting low on powder. I'm still waiting on BPI to ship a order from over a week ago.

I remember last year a few places having the slug loads for $15 a box of 5 I think it is. Recently after chasing a hog through a field of green cotton I'm thinking a 10 gauge slug gun may be in order next year haha.
