Default Looking for information on how to remove the parts in a Parker VH stock

Guys I'm looking for some knowledge on how to Remove the safety mechanism, and automatic safety rod, parts from a parker brothers VH grade 12 gauge shotgun stock. I am working to replace the stock on this old gun and have disassembled the stock from the receiver, but I have never removed these other parts that are a part of the safety mechanism. Can someone provide some step-by-step instructions for these procedures for removing these and any details I should know when installing them in the new stock? Please note that the new stock is another old Parker stock and I have already faced it to fit the receiver and transferred the main screw ferrule, just not sure how to remove these safety parts. Thanks in advance for the assistance.

If you got past removing the frame from the stock, then taking those parts out of the stock should be no problem for you.

The safety jacket pulls out the top and the reset rod is held in by the tang screw bushing. That comes out with a regular turnscrew.
