Default Fish tail top lever on a PH?

Was a fish tail top lever common on anything other than a top lever hammer gun? Saw one on a PH and wondered if it was a factory option or not. Thank you.

I have seen fish tail top levers on hammerless guns. Its not rare but uncommon. I like them. They provided no function for a hammerless gun but Parker probably used them on hammerless guns to deplete their inventory of fish tail top levers after they converted to hammerless guns.

I've seen a good number of hammerless Parkers with the fishtail lever. I currently have a GH with that lever and I have seen higher grade guns with that feature... a beautiful BH comes to mind. My guess is they were as aesthetic pleasing then as they are now, or we would likely not see them on the high grades.
