Well Randy based on my extremely limited knowledge of Parker guns I can only go by what the seller told me. I looked at the gun in hand a couple weeks ago at a gun show. The gun is in very nice condition. It locks up solid as a vault, nothing is loose anywhere. Barrels are 30" choked F/F. I suspect as does fellow I'd consider an expert on them that the the English styled stock is a restock and not original. I was told it was original and had been refinished but I suspect not. The forend I would say is still original. The seller claims the barrels are in their original blue from the factory but that the trigger guard was "hot blued" at some point and there is very little colour left of the original CCH finish on the receiver. The serial # dates it to 1911 according to the search function return on this site and the seller says the gun is a #2 graded VH. It is a 12ga listed as 2 3/4" chambers. If nothing else it will be a really nice occasional use "duck gun" which is my intended purpose for it.

Welcome! Have you checked the serial number against the book that has specs by number? I’m not near my book now, but if you post the number, I’ll check it later.

So far all I checked was the serial # to establish a year of manufacture. I'm not aware of the book you are speaking of.

This is the book: Parker Gun Identification & Serialization
by Charles E Price, S P Fjestad (Editor), Charlie Price (Editor)

I do not see this serial number in the book.

But, there are factory records for this serial number.

Not every serial number PGCA has records for made it into the book.

Congratulations on this! Hope you have great fun shooting and hunting with this one.

Welcome Frank. If that is the gun in your profile picture, I will have to say I don't doubt it is a replacement stock (based on wood quality alone).

I received my membership card, etc today when I checked the mailbox. What an awesome package! I cannot get over the quality of items for such an inexpensive membership! Very well done and thank you, looking forward to reading the Parker Pages and now I have to find a frame worthy of the membership poster.
