Default Parker County Gun Show

I attended the Parker County Gun Club Show on Saturday. Saw an exception condition Spencer Repeating Rifle with 50 rounds of ammunition price was high but I believe appropriate. Lots of Marlin and Winchester lever actions and must were well worn, 1 model 42 field grade for $ 1,200 and gentleman selling his collection of Weatherby Rifles many in their original boxes. Only 2 double barrel shotguns, 1 LC Smith Ideal Grade used and abused and Savage 311 in 20 gauge. However 1 table was loaded with 1 pounds bottles of powder. All rifle powder but I purchased 2 pounds of 4227. His prices ranged $ 40 to 57 per pound.

Live just outside of Springtown. I shoot Skeet almost every Wednesday at Parker County Sportsman Club and Bunker at Ft. Worth Trap and Skeet Thursday or Friday. Sporting Clays is my favorite so when I'm in Arizona I shoot frequently and keep my trailer and cart in Phoenix. Gearing up right now for Bird Season as I skipped Montana this year but hunting quail in Arizona, New Mexico and Oklahoma.

I live on my family ranch halfway between Weatherford and Springtown. I shoot clays in my backyard and then go to fossil pointe to shoot sporting clays. Not much for trap. Wild birds are my passion. I spend the winter guiding duck hunts here and at our ranch’s in Throckmorton and Albany. We need to let our Parkers have a play day
