Charlie you are a squirrel killer for sure. I shot a few at home in Southern Illinois this past September with a Parker 10 gauge lifter and some vintage Winchester X-Pert roll crimped 1 1/4 of 6's. In that big gun those light shells sounded like a .410 going off.
I'm praying everything works out this coming Sunday. The short squirrel season is in over in Ontario so I'm going to try to make a hunt inbetween duck shooting. Wouldn't be so keen but over there all the squirrels are black as man's hat, would make an interesting bag for certain. They're really greys but nearly every one is black phase which is a rarity to me as I've only ever killed one in my life. Destry Destry
