What grade is the LC? The checkering is too deep for a post-1913 field grade, and the zig zag border around the lockplate is not something Ive seen before. The ebony inlay in the forend tip is also not a field grade. Maybe a 1 grade from pre-1913? Nice gun, anyway.

Not sure about the grade... the serial is 337643. I did look at others on Guns Intl and cant find one that matches this border pattern.... seems to be a pretty good gun.
