Default Upper Lake Agnes:

An uncommon scene worth sharing. The photograph was taken recently by my son, Jason. We enjoy the photography of Ansel Adams, hence the B&W photo. He ordered a 24"X30" canvas copy, it should make for an interesting wall display.

I took lots of photo classes in college, and studied Adam’s “zone system” for developing film. It’s amazing what cameras can do now. That’s a gorgeous photo.

I've always been a big fan of Ansel Adams' photography. It's always so majestic.

Nobody mentioned the Bighorn skull in the foreground. Pretty neat.

Because it's not a full curl.

Color would certainly have been distracting to the composition.

Adams magic happened in the darkroom printing and dodging at the enlarger. He was a master at it.

Ah, Adams' famous "Zone System." I spent lots of time in the dark room trying to master than back in my college days. He was indeed a master, Tom.
