Hello Richmond and welcome to the forum!
Nice to hear about your family Parker - those are the most special ones. We had an annual member for a few years from Tasmania by the name of Ron McDonald who hunted brown quail on West Sister Island. He wrote and co-authored articles for our magazine Parker Pages and included pictures. Ron owned five Parkers including a 16 gauge CHE and an assortment of Parker ephemera. He came here to the US for a couple of weeks and while here he visited our previous editor, Austin Hogan, stayed with him for a few days and went ruffed grouse hunting with him in New Hampshire during his stay. Again, Welcome! .

Thanks for your comments ... and as for Oamaru it was my place of birth, pass through it from time to time.

I love the South Island and have spent a lot of time there before and after working in Antarctica. Have always wanted to fly fish for brown trout out of Queenstown, I think it is.
