Default turkey hunters

well the spring turkey season is just around the bend seems like yesterday i just finished putting away my decoys...now its time to pull out my decoys and my guns and to clean and inspect all hunting equipment..especially tents and our hunting vehicles car truck or even our 4 wheelers.....donnot wait like i usally do to the last minute to check on things...main things are to have gun shells and decoys ready....yes and make sure the campfire stove has plenty of fuel with it...the list goes on but being prepared makes it easyer...last of all dont forget the turkey call and the locater call....just about 3 weeks away for us southern boys...charlie

Turkeys in my area have been falling off the last few years and this year is following the trend. Not even seeing them in farmers manure dumps . I guess I'm gonna have to settle for the 5 day late goose season next week and then on to woodchucks.

In Vermont we can hunt turkeys until noon.

At 12:01 I'll be calling coyotes until 1/2 hour after sunset.

Spent some time at the patterning board yesterday. I have a rusted up PH 12 gauge that has to have the tightest chokes Parker ever made. Also have a 10 gauge E toplever hammer gun that will get some use. The opening of turkey season conflicts with the PGCA annual meeting, so am taking half of the following Monday off to get in the woods. I can't hardly wait.
