Default Who needs a Parker Pieces Package?

Moderators if this is the wrong place to put this, please let me know.

Gentlemen,

Some time back I acquired a Parker Basket case with the grand idea of bringing her back to her formal glory. Upon receipt, it occurred to me I do not know squat about vintage gun restoration~ I have other projects that I know will yield a happier outcome so I figured I would see if this pile of bits is of interest to anybody here. There is NO barrel, what you see in the picture is what I have.
To be honest, I have no idea how to price, but I would prefer to sell all at once. I am not looking to make a "ton of dough" and am going to rely on the integrity of this group to make a reasonable offer, mainly enough to make it worth both our time. I would love to see the parts used/appreciated -vs- sitting on a shelf.
I am happy to take and post close up pics for those interested.

I will also need help to identify this gun to better inform any interested parties.

As this is my first post here, some may think I am setting up for a scam. Since our Screen name is First and Last, I can be verified on LinkedIn and Facebook. My Ebay Handle is Flylfogger with 20+ years at 100% positive satisfaction rating.

I hope these parts can find a good home to be used and appreciated more than I can offer them.

Thanks for looking.
Sheldon

So you don't run afoul of the law, keep in mind that if the SN indicates it was made after 1/1/1899, it is a firearm, and you need to transfer it legally.

Appears to be a GH grade 2 gun.

Is it the box lock that "makes" it a firearm -vs- pile of parts?

One of the gunsmiths that frequent this page might be interested in these parts and can assure you don't run afoul of the law. Then the parts will go to good use

Dear Moderators,

I am asking that this poster be removed from ever posting again.

He sold me the Parker parts and advised me of his schedule. I advised him that I would send the funds over the weekend, which was nowhere near over when he sold them to someone else. Then he sends me an e-mail telling me that he had lied to me and sold them to someone else. Below are his e-mails. I have dealt with our members on multiple transactions and have never had any problems; and I am sure the members I have dealt with will agree. I suggest that any posts about what is the value or parts for sale that are not posted by members be removed immediately. Below are my e-mails and agreement he made to sell the parts and my agreement to buy them over the weekend which obviously is not over and he admits he could not ship until Monday so there was no urgency on my part as long as I did it as I indicated.

That will work. What year was it made? I can ship out on Monday. PayPal is Slong@duke.edu or Venmo is @Sheldon-Long-2
Shoot me your preferred mailing address and I will send you a picture of the package with label and tracking number some time Sunday. I work all day Saturday.

OK. I will send pay pal over the weekend, and I will send a link to the ATF site that lists my FFL.

Jerry,
Somebody else just bought the parts.
Thanks,
