Very active winter in New England this year. My 20 year old MTD crapped out and bought an Ariens Professional. As COB said, best money I ever spent. Throws the snow 50 feet... It is a BEAST.

I think after this winter I am going to load my snowblower in the back of my truck and start driving south. At each state I am going to stop and ask a person on the street what is in the back of my truck. The firs person to tell me that they have no idea what it is, I am going to stop right there and buy a house

With the drifted snow yesterday, my 4 wheeler with plow had nowhere to push the snow so I did the whole yard and 600 foot driveway with the little Ariens. Man...I must have walked 10 miles but the little bugger didn't fail me (ran it out of gas once and of course , I was hundreds of feet away from the gas can...) I am now in the market for a 30" model. Where did you happen to buy your Pro model, if you don't mind saying? Most dealers have slim pickens right now in my area. |

I bought mine delivered to my house from MTE in Tewksbury MA. http://www.mte.us.com/ They have an inventory list what is available. There are no Pro's in Tewksbury but there are some in their NY location. Call and ask if they can help you out and have one shipped there if you are serious in buying one.
Ariens dealers only stock the Professional series with the larger 420cc Briggs and Stratton engine and they have promotion for 0% financing for 24 months. Can't beat it... |
