Default Engraving work references.

Has there been a thread on engravers for restoration work? I need some basic trigger guard work done not limited to Parker’s. I also have a couple recuts to do on G through B grade.

Thanks

I would, and have used Geoffroy Gournet. There are others but he would be my first choice.

I second Dean’s recommendation. Mr Gournet recently did the scroll engraving on two sets of barrels for me and helped coordinate some additional work.
I could not have asked for better service, work, and turn around time.

Another most excellent engraver is Noelle Feucht. She has done a lot of work for me, and it has all been outstanding: http://engravingbynoelle.com

Thierry Duguet restored a prewar Midas Superposed for me. It started out real bad, looks great now. He was a favorite of Forrest Marshall.

Dan Rossiter from Customs Stock and Steel, brother Chris has been doing lots of recuts for those guns coming through the shop for restoration. Those include Parkers and Foxes. He is also doing a fair amount of work for G&H now. He can be reached through the Custom Stocks and Steel website.

Tom, is there someplace we can go on the Internet to see better pictures of the detail of his work?
