Default G- Whiz!

Well headed out to a local antique auction Saturday ,where there was a Parker Brothers ,Grade 6 advertised ! At first ,I was a little disappointed to find what I did and then I thought ,Hey there's nothing to be disappointed with in this gun ! It is a very late Remington era 16 Ga. Built on a # 1 Frame with some unique stamping and the , Parker / Ilion New York Grip Cap ! Appears to be all original with a few handing marks and patina ! I happened to be the final bid ,thought I would share some pics. with you fellows ! Hope you enjoy them ! Best ; Russ

Russ, Check out page 582 in TPS. We are not sure of the meaning of these symbols. I have seen the sunburst symbol of a few late guns but never the heart symbol. Interesting....

Hello Rick ,Thank you ,Yes it was in the case and the case doesn't appear to have any special markings to relate it with Remington ,but I haven't really given it a good looking over or cleaning just yet ! Dave S ,I thought the Heart was unique also !
