very cool

excellent tracking- i used to photograph Can-Am and F1 races at Watkins Glen, getting that clarity on a small moving subject takes a lot of practice -kudos to your friend

what shutter speed and focal length was he using?

All I know about the camera is that it is darned expensive. He does work videoing crash test dummies and that requires a super fast camera.
