Default 50 years ago

Looking through pictures tonight and thought I would share. 50 years ago my brother George and I ran our first trap line. Several months ago I once again went with George to run his trap line. Thought I would share 2 pictures. Time flies but we sure have had a lot of memories along the line.

Two finer gentleman you'll never meet ,I was honored to finally meet ,and spend some time with George this past Fall , and I swear Phil mentions his brother everytime we speak ...and I have a feeling his brother speaks of him the same way.

If I’m lucky I might find myself in the same corner of VT where Phil will be this October.

I really enjoy posted photos like this. There's more in them than meets the eye.

Thanks for sharing your photos and some of your past.

I am truly blessed to have George as my brother. We now live 240 miles from each other but talk weekly and usually see each other every month. We spent countless hours as kids pouring over Outdoor Life, Fur-Fish-Game magazines and the Herters catalogue which was worn thin from our use. We both fell asleep many nights in mid sentence or realized the other had become silent and had fallen asleep. While talking about adventures we wanted to go on some day. We still try to keep our dreams of hunting alive and have hunted everything from English sparrows with our BB guns as kids to Bison today.

Dean I sure hope our paths can cross this October as it would be a real pleasure to meet you in person.

Likewise Phil - I'll do everything in my power to make it happen.
