Default Gunsmith for Damascus Barreled Parker

Can anyone refer me to a competent gunsmith to inspect and advise on the shootability of my 1925 vintage Damascus Parker ? I also need stock replacement. I live in SE North Carolina, but of course can ship the gun if needed. Many thanks, David Parker

An excellent gunsmith that specializes in vintage doubleguns. He restocked Bo Whoop I to perfection, IMO.

Yes, Jim Kelly is a fine gunsmith. He has a young man working for him now and he is going to be a good gunsmith. The one huge problem with Darlington Gun Works is many months for your gun to be finished. February of 2020 I dropped of my hammer gun to have the loose rib fixed. October 2020 I drove to the shop and asked for my gun back. It was not fixed, first they could not find it and when they brought it out to me there was a half inch of dust and dirt on it. I was told turn around time is 6 to 10 months.

Breck Gorman in Beaufort SC. 804-357-3404. He does refinish work on Damascus and can measure barrels as well I think. Give him a call. Cant hurt or breck.gorman@gmail.com

I would think, without looking, this could be a drive down and drop off adventure.
