Default Colonic Gun Club, Albany New York?

Does anyone have any knowledge of the Colonic Gun Club Albany New York?
I know it was operating in 1914.
Thank you,
Dale

ps I am posting same question on other forums.

Looks like it is Colonie Gun Club and not Colonic

Yes Thank you. Upon looking with a magnifier it appears to be Colonie.
I will add that to my original post.

I am glad it is not colonic! I read that and was wondering what sort of club that might have been, lol.

with the urban sprawl in New York's capitol district - i would find it unlikely that the old clubs survived -

in some cases they moved and changed names or where absorbed by other clubs

if you're trying to research something about the club- you could always try to write to the couple clubs still there and see if they know what happened to it - if it disappeared in more recent history there might be past members

The la84.org research function for Sporting Life magazine shows two pages of hits on Colonie from 1913 to 1915. Sporting Life research goes as far as 1917, so I assume the Colonie Gun Club was no more after 1915. Their first shoot was in 1913, but I didn't read all the hits to find out when they closed up. They could have merely changed their name. Colonie is a town in Albany County, NY.
