I went dove hunting Saturday and decided to give the Parker it's annual day out. It is a VH 16 on O frame, and is in excellent shape for a gun 103 years young. The first 5 shots resulted in 2 back-to-back doubles and a single. The 6th shot was a miss.
I ended with up with 10 birds and only finding 8.
Several ended getting their limit in part to being on really good pegs and shooting very well.
The former chair of the local school board was witness to my doubles and was
excited as I was. This will be the last season on this property in West bradenton as condos are going up, it is also the last huntable land in west Manatee county
