Default back to Ithaca

Now i like using my parker NH but I also like my Ithaca NID 10 ga. I already shot a bird with the NH so NID 's turn.
Called in a lone tom from 300 yds across a field to 30 yds into the woods where i was set at. at 20 yds after a 1/2 show he too took a bath in the only little stream that was near us. he was a nice looking bird until than. 22 lbs, 1 inch spurs, 2 beards 9 1/2 and 5 1/2 long.

Nice bird Scott.
I was just given an old gun that my grandfather used on the family farm, an H&R 12 ga single shot with 30" full choke, I want to take a turkey with it now.

Nice bird, Scott. Is your gun one of the 3 1/2” Ithaca’s? I have one, and it is a turkey thumper.

First rate, Scott.
And here I am sneakin around in AL-AZ with a HE Super Fox and LC Smith Long Range.
The Smith has been quite the gun, finally fooling an old one here after two years.
It's like a chess match with an old moss-back: a learning experience even after decades.
Next year will mean a new/old shotgun: A 1920s Parker 3 in gun. The Eastern Wild Turkey
is the king of wild fowl. B. Franklin was right. A noble bird with few peers.
